Tata Motors have announced the world’s cheapest production car, the Nano, priced at an astonishing $2,500 USD (approx. £1,250). Dubbed “The People’s Car”, the Nano achieves an impressive 50mpg and carries up to four passengers with limited comfort and style.
In other news: Tata are rumoured to be considering a bid for Jaguar, the world’s greatest ever car manufacturer bar none. If they do take ownership of the legendary marque, here’s hoping they maintain Jaguar’s core brand values: danger, speed, exhaust fumes, maximum fuel consumption, wood and leather.
